As a brand-new hotel, the Marriott worked to fully furnish the project with the partnership of Apex. Both quality and customization were at the forefront of the planning and design for their new location in the heart of downtown Tacoma, WA. Apex brought forward high attention to detail as we installed customized furniture and ancillary items for the facility including 304 hotel rooms, six suites, back of house offices, and public spaces.
Recognizing the Marriott team’s priority to create a warm yet stylish décor with modern amenities, Apex focused on adding unique elements that required our team to calculate every step of each placement. Guest rooms were carefully outfitted with barn door entry bathrooms, custom glass shower sliding doors, built-in closets, and ceiling lights that operate on a pulley to give guests that additional custom touch during their stay. Amongst these custom touches our team dove in and carefully managed the electrical for the specially lit bathroom mirrors and LED-lit headboards.
Our services extend into sustainably furnishing the private offices with blended used and new furniture to maximize the client’s budget. While also outfitting the furniture in the lobby, restaurant, bar, and meeting rooms that created the welcoming environment necessary for a premium property.
